After my wife passed away. I was not on the loan papers. I was told I had to apply for a new loan. After supply all my information, I initially was turned down for a loan. I could have pulled the $16.000.00 out of savings. Then I got a call that I was approved for the loan at a higher rate. I suppose, if interest rates had gone down, I would’ve never heard anything about reapplying for a loan. I’m not happy with duPage credit Union.

Loan application and loan signing moved quickly with no issues.

When we arrived at the car dealership on a Saturday morning, we did not have all the needed documents. Latoya Jackson was able to guide us through the loan process, getting a check cut, FedEx-ing it to the company in California and providing check mages and tracking numbers to the dealership so the vehicle could be released to us that day.
In our minds, Latoya is the Employee of the Year at DuPage credit union.

Taña was kind, willing to find the best rates, and answered all my questions. She was patient and understanding when one deal fell through, and we needed more time to find an alternate vehicle. She responded quickly to all our emails, she was highly organized for both meetings we had, and all paperwork was ready to go. She was great to work with, and she made the loan process seamless. I would absolutely request her for any loan needs I have in the future.

Latoya and D’Andrea made the process go quickly. Some issues with the loan program that would not make it easy to borrow a smaller amount than I put down on the loan.

I've been a member of DCU (formerly DSCU) for approximately 40 years. I've had many interactions with their staff in the facilities and on the phone. I've never been disappointed. I'm not sure how they do it, but the staff members are the friendliest, kindest and most efficient of anyone company I've ever interacted with. Very competitive rate which is good. The application process was rough. We got through it but it was confusing and by the time we got approved, it was too late to get a check to pay for the car at time of delivery. We then had to wait until we got the title before we could have the loan funded. Finally closing was fine.
