Though they are often used interchangeably, a "mobile wallet" is an app that can be used on your smartphone to pay in-store using a credit or debit card—namely Google Pay™, Apple Pay®, and Samsung Pay. A digital wallet can be used on a desktop, laptop, and a mobile phone—think PayPal®, Venmo, and Cash App.
Digital wallets can be used in-store, online, or in-app.
How to add your debit or credit card to mobile wallets
Looking for the perfect credit card?
Earn a $2 statement credit per qualified mobile wallet transaction that posts to your Visa® credit card account between 4/1/21-5/31/21; maximum $10 credit. Statement credit is determined on compatible merchant, in-app, and online mobile wallet purchases only through Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, and Samsung Pay. One (1) statement credit will be applied to the overall outstanding account balance within two billing cycles after 5/31/21 and does not count towards your minimum monthly payment amount. The total amount spent may not exceed your available credit limit. Some restrictions may apply. Terms and conditions apply. DuPage Credit Union debit cards are not eligible. Current DuPage Credit Union credit card must be open, paid up to date and not delinquent. Must have a Credit Union membership established and be in good standing.
