In an effort to continually improve our credit card offerings, the Credit Union is upgrading to an enhanced platform. This means an improved online experience and additional benefits such as redesigned contactless cards and the ability to view your transactions and manage your card within the DuPage Card Controls app.
 
Beginning September 20, the Credit Union will be mailing the new and improved credit cards to all cardholders. Please take a moment to review the important dates below that could potentially impact your payments, reward points, cash back, and more.

Important dates to remember as we transition to the enhanced card platform.

You will continue to earn cash back and all cash back will transition to the enhanced platform.

8/31/2021 at 5:00 PM CT - Cash back redemption is temporarily paused.

9/3/2021 - New balance transfer requests are temporarily paused.
New balance transfer requests can be submitted, but will not be processed until 9/20.

9/13/2021 at 5:00 PM CT - Credit card payments made through the credit card site will temporarily be unavailable.
Credit card payments will continue to be accepted via the Transfers tab in Online Banking, in a branch office, over the phone or through the Automated Phone System.

Beginning 9/17/2021 - Online credit card statements prior to September 2021 will no longer be available.
Please download your current card's statement history; statements prior to September 2021 will no longer be available online once we have transitioned to the new, enhanced platform.

9/17/2021 at 5:00 PM CT - Access to the credit card site through Online Banking will be temporarily unavailable.
If you need up to date credit card information, please call us at 1-800-323-2611.

9/18/2021 - All mailed credit card payments should be addressed to the new credit card payment address.

Week of 9/20/2021 - Your new credit card is on the way!
To ensure delivery of your new card, make sure to log in to Online Banking and confirm your address is correct by selecting Settings > Profile > Address before 9/16/2021 at 5:00 PM CT.

10/1/2021 - The DuPage Card Controls app is available to download.
Upon downloading the Card Controls app, enroll your new credit card to view transactions, set alerts, spending limits, turn card on/off and so much more. Learn More.

10/31/2021 - Your old credit card will be closed.
Activate your new card if you haven't already. Be sure to update any merchant that bills your card automatically or stores your card information.

10/31/2021 - Visa® Purchase Alerts will no longer work.
To receive alerts on your new credit card, make sure to download the new DuPage Card Controls App.

In an effort to continually improve our credit card offerings, the Credit Union is upgrading to an enhanced platform. For you, our member, that means an improved online and mobile experience and additional benefits such as contactless cards and the ability to manage your card with the DuPage Card Controls app—available for your credit card starting October 1.

You’ll be able to access your new card through Online Banking after you provide the initial authentication/verification information in the new, enhanced credit card site.

There will be a short period beginning September 17 at 5:00 PM CT where these items will not be available to view online as we transition to the new platform. If you are enrolled in Visa Purchase Alerts, you will continue to receive notifications as usual. Should you have any concerns during this time, please call us at 1-800-323-2611.

Any transaction posted before June 27 will not transition to the enhanced online platform. Please download your statement history by September 16 as it will no longer be available online after this date. On September 28, you will have access to your first statement through the enhanced platform, showing all transactions from August 28 through September 27. Then, all subsequent statements will post as usual in the following months.

Available now for debit cards and October 1 for credit cards, with the DuPage Card Controls app, you can control where, when, and how your credit and debit cards can be used. Turn your card off if it’s lost, get alerts, set spending limits, and more.

Yes. Your reissued credit card will have a new number, expiration date, and CVV. Be sure to update any merchant that bills your card automatically or stores your card information.

  1. Activate your new card by using any of the methods on the sticker.
  2. Destroy your old card by cutting it up.
  3. Update any merchant that bills your card automatically or stores your card information with your new card number, expiration, and CVV.

No. Your current terms and conditions will remain the same.

With the exception of the Inspire Cash Back Signature card, the names of the cards are changing as follows:

DuPage Credit Union will mail new cards starting September 20. If you do not receive a new card by October 8, please call 1-800-323-2611 or visit a branch near you.

Alerts set up via Visa Purchase Alerts will no longer work starting October 31. In order to receive the most customized alerts, we recommend downloading the free DuPage Card Controls app.

If you are already enrolled in online statements for your credit card, you do not need to reenroll. As we transition, you may get up to 2 paper statements in addition to your online statements.

To use your new card through your digital wallet, you will need to add it as a new card. Your current card will continue to work in your digital wallet until it is closed on October 31.

Yes, your cash back or points will be transferred to your new card and can be accessed via Online Banking through the new, enhanced credit card site.

While you will continue to earn cash back and rewards during this upgrade, please note that you will be unable to redeem during the following time frames:

August 23: cash back and rewards redemptions for a statement credit will be temporarily unavailable
August 31 at 5:00 PM CT: All cash back and rewards redemptions will be paused

Yes, starting September 17 your cash back will expire after four years, instead of two years.

Yes, you will see a new, enhanced redemption experience for your card including new rewards options.
