NAPERVILLE – August 13, 2015 – Nearly a dozen DuPage Credit Union Team Members and their families took part in the American Cancer Society’s I-88 Corporate Relay for Life August 7th in Lisle; raising over $3,800 in donations and awareness for this worthwhile cause.
Throughout 2015, Team Members raised funds through an in-house Snack Center, luminaire and pastry sales, personal fund-raising efforts and Member donations. Their efforts helped the Credit Union reach the Silver Fundraising Level.
“Participating in the Relay for Life and raising funds, is something we feel very strongly about.” said Vice President of Business Solutions, Amy Brandt. “Many of our Team Members have been touched by cancer in one way or another and wholeheartedly participate to help find a cure. They also walk to honor and remember those who have or are battling the disease.”
During the Relay for Life, the Credit Union’s Vice President of Loan Sales, Gail Mosher, was recognized by the American Cancer Society for her efforts in raising over $1,000 and reaching Grand Club status.
The I-88 Corporate Relay for Life raised over $25,000.
