TO OUR MEMBERS: We hope you have positive experiences with DuPage Credit Union and would like to share those positive experiences with others. Our website contains an area where we post testimonials that you give us permission to publish. DuPage Credit Union follows the FTC Endorsement Guides concerning consumer testimonials. Accordingly, if you offer us a testimonial for publication, it should comply with the following terms of use:

1. We will serve as the moderator and will read all testimonials prior to making them public to determine if they are appropriate. Our decisions about whether particular comments are appropriate are final. We have the right to edit your testimonial for length or other considerations. If you do not want us to edit your testimonial, you must tell us when you offer it to us and we have the discretion to determine whether to publish it “as is” or not to publish it.
2. You must be a DuPage Credit Union member of at least 18 years of age to provide a testimonial and you must be an actual current user of the service(s) about which you are commenting. If you provide us with contact information, we have the right to contact you at intervals to determine whether your views are still current.
3. Your comments must truthfully and accurately reflect your personal experience with the service(s) and your beliefs about them.
4. This website is family-friendly and your comments must be the same. We will not tolerate aggression toward, disrespect of, or personal attacks against others or any content that is vulgar, obscene, sexually oriented, offensive, rude, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, threatening, knowingly false or inaccurate, harassing, abusive, infringes the property or proprietary rights of others, invades their rights of privacy or publicity or is otherwise unlawful. We will not post any comments containing advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, solicitation of funds or solicitation of goods or services.
5. Remember that anyone can access this website. Do not post any personally identifiable or private information such as full names, street addresses, telephone numbers, member or account numbers, passwords or PINs, social security numbers or employer identification numbers. We reserve the right to edit out such information but are not responsible if it appears in a testimonial. You are solely responsible for what you say in your testimonial and any consequences, and your interactions with other visitors to this website. We will use only your first name and last initial when publishing your testimonial.
6. If you violate these rules or act in any other inappropriate manner, we can limit or terminate your access to the testimonial section of the website, at our sole discretion.
7. If you provide us with contact information, we may provide you with additional help or resources, if appropriate. We will not display your email address on the website or sell or share it with anyone outside DuPage Credit Union.
8. We want members and prospective members to be able to rely on the testimonials we publish. Accordingly, we will not pay members or provide any other benefit to them for giving us a testimonial.
9. Your testimonial may not contain any harmful material such as viruses, worm, time bombs, “bots,” or other computer programming that can damage, interfere with, intercept, or seize any system, data, or information. You may not take any action that would cause harm to or impose an unreasonably large load on our website’s infrastructure.
10. DuPage Credit Union does not guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party communications published on this website, nor do we endorse any opinions of any commenters. DuPage Credit Union is not responsible for the content of any testimonial. By submitting a testimonial, you represent that the content is exclusively your own and represents your personal view.
11. Team members, directors, or committee members of DuPage Credit Union cannot submit testimonials.
12. YOU HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD DUPAGE CREDIT UNION HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST, AND HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PURSUE, ANY CLAIMS OF ANY NATURE ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH INCLUSION, PUBLICATION, OR DISPLAY ON THIS WEBSITE OF ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON, OR ANY OTHER USE AUTHORIZED UNDER THESE RULES, INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH.
13. The testimonials are intended for the exchange of information and ideas, not for account service. 14. If your testimonial does not appear on the website within a reasonable time period, and does not violate these rules, you may contact us at [email protected] to determine why it was not published.
