Accounts

What’s changing to the primary and joint account structure?
If you are the primary and/or joint accountholder on multiple accounts, with the new Digital Banking platform, all of your accounts will be aggregated into one view. This means you’ll only have to remember one username and password to view all of your accounts!

Please note that because of this change to the account structure, anyone you previously shared a login with (such as a joint account holder) will now be able to see all of the accounts and products associated with you if you continue to share a login.

Can the joint accountholder have a separate login?
Yes. If you’re a joint accountholder, click “Register a New Account” from the main Digital Banking login page. After registering, the joint accountholder will have their own login to view all of their own accounts (i.e. checking, savings, and loans), as well as any accounts that they are joint on.

When will the primary accountholder be able to authenticate into the new Digital Banking platform?
By April 4. Be on the lookout for more information when the new platform is ready.

If a joint accountholder creates a login using their own credentials, they won’t be able to see the primary accountholder’s statements.

Will my account information from other financial institutions carry over to the new platform?
Yes. Any transfer accounts from other financial institutions that are currently established on your account will carry over to the new platform and be seen under the Accounts screen. However, if you are utilizing the Financial Insight tools (Spend Analysis), you will need to re-enter the account information to gain a more holistic view of your finances (balances/transactions).

Will I be able to see all my statements from one login?

Click the “Get Started” button under “Link External Accounts” on the Dashboard and follow the prompts to link your account. Linked account balances are updated every 24 hours. Some accounts may not automatically refresh as your bank may require Multifactor Authentication (MFA). Please note: Linking an external account in this way does not allow you to transfer to/from that account. To create an external transfer account, select Transfer & Pay > Add External Account in your browser or Transfers > Add Account in the mobile app.

Can I change the order of my internal accounts and linked accounts on the Dashboard?
Yes, you can change order the accounts within a group (an account type class) to display in whatever order you desire. Click your profile image on the top right > Settings > Accounts > “Reorder Accounts.”

How can I link an external account on the Dashboard in Digital Banking?
Linking external accounts you have at other financial institutions allows you to get a holistic view of your finances and see balances at a glance. To get started, click the “Get Started” button under “Link External Accounts” on the Dashboard and follow the prompts to link your account. Linked account balances are updated every 24 hours. Please note: Link an external account in this way does not allow you to transfer to/from that account. How can I categorize transactions or change an existing transaction category?
From the Accounts > Activity screen, click on the account and find the transaction that you’d to categorize. Click the category button below the transaction description. Log in to Digital Banking on a browser (this cannot be done in the mobile app). Then, select the account from your Dashboard. Once on the Accounts page, click on the pencil icon next to the name of the account to give your account a nickname.

Transfers & Payments

I need to pay my DuPage Credit Union loan. Should I use the Loan Payment Service or Digital Banking?
While you can quickly and securely pay your loan using either platform, we recommend registering for Digital Banking. With Digital Banking, you can pay your loan using a DuPage Credit Union checking or savings account or an external transfer source. You can also set up custom loan payment alerts. Plus, with the mobile app, it’s easy to manage your loan on-the-go.

Are there any blackout dates when I should not schedule a transfer?
On March 29, 30, and 31, please do not schedule new future-dated transfers or make modifications to existing transfers. If you have a current transfer scheduled for these dates it will be processed as normal.

If you have a current transfer scheduled for April 1-2 it will be processed on April 3 in the new Digital Banking platform.

Will all my external accounts/external transfer sources migrate to the new Digital Banking platform?
Yes, your external accounts/transfer sources can be accessed via the Transfers tab in the new Digital Banking platform.

Will previously scheduled transfers carry over to the new Digital Banking platform?
Yes, any transfers set up before March 29 will transfer over to the new platform.

How can I add an external account to make transfers to/from Digital Banking?
Select Transfer & Pay > Add Account in your browser or Transfers > Add Account in the mobile app. Here you have the option to add an external account instantly by verifying your credentials, or if you don’t see your financial institution listed, and an account manually with your account and routing number. The system will send two trial/micro deposits to your external account. This process may take up to three business days to complete. Before the account can be added to your profile, you must confirm the value of the first and second trial deposits.

I’m trying to “Add an account instantly” for external transfers but it’s not working.
One of the most common reasons for being unable to add an account instantly is that there is not currently an automatic link to that financial institution—for example, a Bank of America personal checking or savings account. In these instances, please click “Add an account manually” in which case you will need to enter your financial institution’s account number and routing number and verify the trial/micro deposits.

Where do I go to verify trial or micro deposits?
You should have an alert when you log in to your account asking you to verify. If that doesn’t appear, click your profile image on the top right > Settings > Accounts in your browser or More > Settings > Accounts in the mobile app. The external account will be at the bottom of the screen.

How do I transfer money to another DuPage Credit Union member?
If you’re in your browser, Select Transfer & Pay > Transfer > Add Account > Send money to another DuPage Credit Union Member. In the mobile app, select Transfers Add Account > Send money to another DuPage Credit Union Member. You will need to know the recipients last name, account type, account number, and share or loan ID. If you would like to save the account to transfer in the future, you can check the box.

Will there be any downtime with the Loan Payment Service?
The Loan Payment Service will be down March 30 – April 3 while we perform the systems migration. March 29 is the last day that payments can be made through the current platform. Future-dated payments scheduled for after March 29 will not process. If your loan payment is due during this time frame, we ask that you schedule your payment for March 28 or earlier. We understand that it may not be possible for you to make your payment earlier. Rest assured we will work with you during the grace period.

How can I access the new Loan Payment Service?
Visit the Loan Payment Center on April 4 to view your options.
